World's First 3D Printed Dress

Looking to connect Ace Hotel with innovators in fashion, the world’s first 3D printed dress was conceived for NYC Fashion Week Winter ‘13, in partnership with Michael Schmidt, Francis Bitonti, Dita Von Teese, and Shapeways. Inspired by spirals based on the Golden Ratio and the Fibonacci sequence and a first of its kind, the dress has been featured in exhibitions at Museum of Art & Design (NYC) and LACMA (LA) and won the LE Miami Rebel Award.
